Want to know when we are exhibiting works by your favourite artist? Simply take a look in our calendar.
Lauba's Shapebook is aimed at elementary school kids. First session starts on 24 February and it will be held every Friday at 18:45 h, until 1 June (24 school hours in total). We will work on the artworks from the Filip Trade Collection; workshop managers are Aneta Mudronja and Tomislav Pletenac
What classifies as art? Are those only the objects we find in museums and galleries? Or are they a part of our everyday life? Why is contemporary art so often incomprehensible and obscure? Art has always been looking for a way to communicate with the world in which it is being created. And so is today. Therefore, we do not think that art is alienated from our everyday problems. It only gives us a different perspective on them. In order to understand that perspective one has to open up to a different way of thinking that will enable each of us to create our own relationship with an artwork. And remember; there are no wrong attempts, you do not learn to paint, draw or make sculptures, you learn how to have fun and experiment!
