The tour titled \u201cZoran pjeva Arsen\u201d, by which Zoran Predin and Damir Kukuruzovi\u0107 Django Group are promoting the album of the same name, kicked off in May from Opatija, continued with spectacular concerts in Labin, Zagvozd, Vinkuran, \u0160ibenik and is finally arriving in Zagreb! One of the best-selling albums in Croatia will be presented in Zagreb’s Lauba on Saturday, December 7.
\nNew studio album \u201cZoran pjeva Arsen\u201d by Zoran Predin and Damir Kukuruzovi\u0107 Django Group, released by Croatia Records in February 2019, is a heartwarming tribute to the biggest Croatian singer-songwriter, Arsen Dedi\u0107. It is Predin’s 40th album, released in a year in which this successful songwriter is celebrating his 40th year in the music career.
\nPredin shares a long-standing friendship with Arsen Dedi\u0107, and he felt the great author not only as a friend but also as a mentor, an older brother, his poetic soulmate. That is why after the great success of Matija Dedi\u0107’s album “Matija pjeva Arsena” the idea for the album “Zoran pjeva Arsen” was born.
\nPredin selected twelve songs that were recorded in gypsy swing arrangements, and his many years of collaboration with Damir Kukuruzovi\u0107 and his Django Group enabled him to realize his idea in the best possible way. In the new arrangements of violinists Bruno Urli\u0107 and Zoran Predin, Arsen’s classics such as \u201cKu\u0107a pored mora\u201d, \u201cModerato Canatbile\u201d, \u201cNi ti, ni ja\u201d, \u201cImenom sam tvojim zvao\u201d, \u201cPamtim samo sretne dane\u201d were given a new style that will surely delight both Arsen’s and Predin’s audiences alike.
\nWe invite you to join us before the concert at the opening of the photo exhibition followed by the occasion of 40 years of Zoran Predin’s successful career. The exhibition will be officially opened at 7 pm by Zoran Predin with a brief interview with the curator of the exhibition, which can be viewed until the end of the concert.
