It is a series of pop-up exhibitions that alternate, with the artists whose exhibition is set up choosing the next author themselves, and after five held exhibitions, one artist is chosen by Lauba, and so on in a circle. Unlike last year\u2019s, this year\u2019s \u201cPass It On\u201d exhibitions are set up in the space in front of Lauba\u2019s great hall. In this year&#8217;s cycle of the &#8220;Pass It On&#8221; platform, the first artist Marta Katavi\u0107 nominated Marta Dijak, who nominated the next artist &#8211; Karlo Finti\u0107. At the opening, find out who Karlo Finti\u0107 will nominate next.<\/p>\n<p>In his works, Karlo Finti\u0107 deals with depictions of various historical conflicts, from the Middle Ages to modern wars. He uses these motifs as a basis for experimentation within the medium of painting. Furthermore, through motifs ubiquitous in today&#8217;s culture, he questions the limit of what can be considered &#8220;serious&#8221; art, that is, he deals with the concept of painting as such.<\/p>\n<p>Karlo Finti\u0107 was born in 1997 in Zagreb. In 2019 he enrolled in the undergraduate study of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where he is currently attending the first year of graduate studies. During his studies so far, he exhibited at various exhibitions within the Academy, as well as others in Zagreb, Zlatar, and Kri\u017eevci.
