The House for People and Art proudly presents the third and richest edition of the Kolektart art exhibition! The most attractive art event in December will be showing the works of the most renowned artists as well as rising stars of the art world in which are very much worth investing in.

If you’re looking for an artwork that will adorn your living or working spaces, an inspirational and exclusive gift for a business partner or if you are an avid art collector, Kolektart makes a unique art shopping experience possible, and at the highest level along with Lauba’s guarantee of quality.

 

In Lauba’s assortment, visitors will be able to find epochal works of the first lady of the transavangarde, Edita Schubert, who rests at the top of European art of the final quarter of the 20th century, spanning a 30 year career.

This year we are celebrating the 100th birthday of our academic Ivan Kožarić in celebration of which new graphics editions were printed and will be offered as part of the biggest art fair so far.

 

This impressive exhibition will include rare works by Marijan Jevšovar from the 1960s, as well as marvelous works by other members of the Gorgona art group and Kolektart longtime exhibitors Miljenko Horvat and Đuro Seder.

Limited graphics printed from gouache works by Edo Murtić from the New Abstraction cycle are coming to Lauba to enrich the collection and by amazing prices!

A novelty in this year’s edition are the works of Martina Grlić who is coming to take part in Kolektart straight from Moscow where her exhibition is set to take place at the Fragment Gallery, while the same gallery prepares her solo show in New York next year.

The spectacular program of the third edition of Kolektart is joined by the newest works of Kristian Kožul, whose work ‘Intercisus’ was recently featured in the renowned magazine Art Forum, as well as works by Marko Tadić who represented Croatia at the 2017. Art Bienalle in Venice.

 

The esteemed multimedia artist Igor Eškinja is part of the biggest art event in Lauba after his success at the photography auction organized by the esteemed Phillips house, in which world-class artist as Cindy Shermal also took part.

Duje Jurić will be introducing himself with his works from the sensational series ‘Memo Chips’ that were chosen to adorn the presidential residency in Croatia, while Gordana Bakić will be presenting a piece which is currently on display at the painting Bienalle in HDLU.

Mario Javoran, last year Kolektart’s sensation, is back this year having won first place in the drawing category in a competition organised by the esteemed american Arc Salon for the piece ‘Mediterraneo’, and Alem Korkut’s attractive sculptures are coming to Lauba after numerous exhibitions abroad, where they will be available at amazing prices.

Renowned artist Marija Ujević Galetović is presenting a treat for all art collectors at this year’s edition of Kolektart in the form of smaller sculptures, while the graphics portfolio of famous comic artist, illustrator, director and screenwriter Milan Trenc, which includes reworked pieces originally published in ‘Studentski list’ magazine, present another amazing opportunity for collectors.

Alongside already established artists, the third edition of Kolektart brings forth the works of 19 younger artists about whom you will certainly be hearing a lot in the near future. The stars on the rise that are confidently finding their way around the Croatian art scene and whose future presents a bright investment are: Lorena Almaši, Rina Barbarić, Petra Divković, Andrej Drožđan, Lora Elezović, Jessica Gobert, Nikola Grabovac, Helena Janečić, Nikica Jurković, Lorna Kijurko, Tep Kiš, Emanuela Lekić, Mislav Lešić, Mario Miličić, Mia Matijević, Miron Milić, Ivana Pipal, Diana Trohar, Zorana Unković i Dominik Vuković.
