We will show you the works of Eugen Feller, which we received as a result of mutual cooperation
on the artistic intervention Art & grad.

We invite you to join us at the opening of the exhibition at the Lauba House for People and Art on
March 17 at 7 p.m.

Eugen Feller was born on January 26, 1942 in Split, but since 1945 he has been living in Zagreb,
where his family is from. He is self-taught, and he became interested in painting at a young age,
so he has been exhibiting since 1959. Working in the early sixties, Malampije, pictures of relief
surfaces and monochrome structures, he established himself, along with Ivo Gattina, as the most
important and radical representative of Art Informel in Croatian painting. In the later period, he
was close to minimalism and geometric abstraction, and otherwise he continues to explore these
vocations to this day. Since 1969, he has lived in Italy, in the town of Sestri Levante near Genoa,
and in 2000 he returned to Zagreb. In addition to painting, he deals with objects, drawing and
graphics. In 2014, HTV filmed and occasionally broadcasts the TV film Contemporaries – Eugen
Feller. His works are in many museums, galleries and private collections. He has been awarded
multiple times for his work, and in 2017 he was awarded the Vladimir Nazor Lifetime Achievement
Award. He lives and works in Zagreb.

Come, it will be great!

The exhibition can be viewed every day (except Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until March 28.
The ticket price is EUR 6, with a 50% discount for pensioners, students and residents.
