6th ART FAIR NESVRSTANI (01.06.2023 – 04.06.2023)

 

OPEN CALL

 

for exhibition at the 6th edition of the Art Fair NESVRSTANI, which will be held in Lauba – House for People and Art, in Zagreb, from June 1 to June 4, 2023.

 

Organizer and venue: Lauba – House for People and Art, Prilaz baruna Filipovića 23a, 10 000 Zagreb.

 

Application deadline: May 1, 2023.

 

Art Fair NESVRSTANI is the most important event on the contemporary art market calendar, not only in Croatia but in the region. Carefully selected exhibitors and the international character of the fair, guarantee the quality of the works presented, while the festival atmosphere and different accompanying events attract an ever-increasing number of visitors.

 

Art Fair NESVRSTANI supports artistic initiatives and development by encouraging the art scene’s circulation, illuminating contemporary art practice as well as trends in the art market, and serving as a reference point for viewing the future directions of contemporary art.

 

Art Fair NESVRSTANI contributes not only to the greater profitability of artistic work but also provides an opportunity for collectors and art lovers to discover the most exciting new works by already established artists as well as young artists who are still unknown to a wider audience.

 

Art Fair NESVRSTANI is a place for art lovers and art professionals, a place for the gathering of independent artists, collectors, art dealers, and a wider audience.

 

 

 

WHO CAN APPLY

 

The competition is open to all independent galleries, art associations, and organizations, as well as groups of artists and independent artists who work in the field of contemporary art and want to present themselves commercially at the art fair.

 

 

CATEGORIES:

 

A: Galleries, artists’ associations, and art organizations

 

Exhibitors in category A are allocated a space of up to 50 m2 with a display area with panels/walls (340 x 295 cm + 340 x 420 cm + 340 x 420 cm) for exhibition.

 

Application form for category A:

– a short description of the gallery or art organization and its field of activity;

– a list of the names of the artists that the applicant intends to exhibit and a short biography for each proposed author;

– informative photos and a description of several works that the applicant intends to exhibit.

 

 

B: Individual exhibitors

 

Exhibitors in category B are assigned a stand or panel/wall, size 3m2 – 5m2.

 

Application form for category B:

– short biography and field of activity;

– informative photos and a description of several works that the artist intends to exhibit.

 

 

BY REGISTERING AT THE 6th Art Fair NESVRASTANI

 

-Exhibitors commit to participating during the entire Art Fair NESVRSTANI

for category A:  the presence of at least one person from the team of curators/gallerists/artists during the working hours of the Art Fair NESVRSTANI;

for category B: the presence of the artist during the working hours of the Art Fair NESVRSTANI;

– Exhibitors commit to designing their own exhibition concept and maintaining communication with visitors;

 

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

 

The application form and accompanying materials must be sent by May 1st, 2023, to the e-mail address info@nesvrstani.hr with the subject: NESVRSTANI 2023 – (category A or B) – (name of author or organization).

 

The selection will be published on the organizer’s website, www.nesvrstani.hr and sent directly to the exhibitors via email address.
